Embed a chord player
Put a chord diagram that plays on your own page. Copy the line below, change the chord and instrument, and paste it into your site's HTML.
What your readers get
The same player as the site: the easiest good shape for the chord, a Play button that strums or arpeggiates it, half and quarter speed, a loop, and a left-handed flip on guitar and ukulele. Notes light up as they sound. There are 180 chords on each of the three instruments.
Who it's for
Teachers writing lesson pages, bloggers who explain a progression, course creators and forum posters. It's free. The player shows a small link back to the full chord page on Hear the Chord; please keep it. The player has no ads and no analytics.
Tips
- Use 360 × 460 for guitar and ukulele and 460 × 360 for piano.
- Several players on one page are fine; each loads only when scrolled into view.
- On platforms that don't allow iframes, link to the chord page instead: every page works on phones.
